Attorney Craig Ashton has been practicing personal injury law for more than 30 years and has been a partner with the law firm of Ashton & Price for over 25. Craig has represented clients who were involved in auto accidents and premises injuries. Mr. Ashton has facilitated hundreds of millions of dollars in personal injury settlements, awards, judgments, and JURY VERDICTS over the course of his career. His secret to success has been personal, client interaction, which he says, makes all the difference in terms of the outcome in a case.
Prior to founding Ashton & Price with his law partner, Mr. Ashton was an associate attorney for the Law Offices of Arnold Laub, in San Francisco, California and received guidance from the King of Torts, Melvin Belli who maintained a law office a few doors down on Montgomery Street in San Francisco. Mr. Ashton also clerked for Honorable Chief Judge Parlen McKenna, at the Department of the Interior in Washington D.C., with an emphasis on environmental law.
Education: Attorney Craig Fontaine Ashton was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. He graduated from Serra High school (with Barry Bonds a year behind and Tom Brady years ahead) and is a graduate of Pepperdine University School of Law. While there Mr. Ashton was President of Environmental Law Society and was also elected President of the Student Bar Association. He received an award from the United States Attorney General Richard Thornburgh at the Beverley Hilton Hotel for Best Oral Advocate in Pepperdine’s annual moot court competition. Mr. Ashton earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the University of California, Berkeley.
Associations: Mr. Ashton is a TV legal analyst on Fox, CBS, and ABC, and is the host of a weekly radio show “The All Things Legal Show” on carried weekly on 105.5 KSAC, 1140 KHTK, and 1050 KNBR.
Mr. Ashton is a FIVE-time Ironman triathlon FINISHER (2.4- mile swim, 112 – mile bike, 26.2 mile run), completing Ironman New Zealand (Lake Taupo), Ironman Australia (Melbourne), Ironman Mexico (Cabo San Lucas), Ironman Mexico (Cozumel) and Ironman Spain (Barcelona). His best time was in Barcelona at 12 hours and 9 minutes. He has also swum from Alcatraz to San Francisco four separate times- twice for charity supporting the SPCA thereby raising $5000.00 for this great cause.

- Richard Henry Lee, the president of the Continental Congress, Governor of Virginia and signatory of the Declaration of Independence is his direct (5th) grandfather.
- John Augustine Washington, a patriot and colonel in the Revolutionary war, is his direct (5th) grandfather.
- George Washington is Mr. Ashton’s direct great uncle (5th).
